Vancouver's Hobbit House For Sale: Hobbits Not Included
Built in 1942 by developer Brenton Lea, one of Vancouver's two Hobbit Houses is up for sale. For a mere $2.86 million this iconic home can be yours. Known for it's cedar shingle thatched roof, the Hobbit House is located less than a block from Vancouver's rapid transit Canada Line. It is located in the middle of the Cambie Corridor, a neighborhood in transition. Everywhere you look old houses are coming down to make way for higher density housing. Will the Hobbit House remain standing or be torn down?

More H Frames
Whenever I am downtown I find the back lanes alive with bright colors and artistic flair. The H frames although on their way out continue to stand adding a certain character that can only be found in this area.
